Privacy Notice
Last updated: April 2, 2026
The short version
We collect your name and email when you sign up. We use them to build your view and keep your account working. We don't sell your information to anyone. We use a small number of outside services to run leDASH, and they only see what they need. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
This notice explains what information we collect, why we have it, and what we do with it. Please read it. If you disagree with anything here, don't use leDASH. This applies when you visit ledash.co or any page that links to this notice, and when you reach out to us or use your view.
What we collect
When you fill out our builder or contact us, you give us your name and email address. That's the only information you hand over directly.
When you use leDASH, some information is collected automatically: your IP address, the browser and device you're using, the pages you visit, and when you visit them. This is standard for any website. We use it to keep things running and catch problems.
We don't collect sensitive information like your race, religion, health data, or financial details.
How we use it
We use your information to create and manage your account, deliver your view, and reach you when something needs your attention. We may also use it to keep the service secure and comply with the law. We don't use it for anything you didn't ask for.
Why we're allowed to use it
We process your information because you asked us to when you signed up. Where the law requires a specific reason, we rely on your consent, our contract with you, or a legal obligation. If you're in the EU, UK, Switzerland, or Canada, the relevant data protection laws apply to you and we follow them.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of services to run leDASH: Clerk handles your login, Resend delivers your view by email, Neon stores account data, and Vercel hosts the site. Each of them only receives what they need to do their part.
If leDASH is ever sold or merged with another company, your information may transfer as part of that. We'll let you know if that happens.
We don't share your information with advertisers. We don't sell it. We haven't in the past twelve months and we don't plan to.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use tracking cookies or ad pixels. If you block cookies, you won't be able to stay logged into your view.
AI tools
We build your view using AI tools, including Anthropic's Claude. Your inputs help us understand what you want to track. Those inputs are processed by these tools under their own privacy policies. We don't use your personal information to train AI models.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as long as the law requires. When you close your account, we delete your data from active systems. Some information may remain in backups for a short time before it's fully removed.
How we protect it
We use standard security measures to protect your information. That said, no system is completely unbreakable. We can't guarantee that your information will never be accessed without permission, so use leDASH knowing that risk exists.
Kids
leDASH is for people 16 and older. If you're a parent and believe your child has an account, email us and we'll remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, access it, correct it, delete it, or take a copy of it. You may also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
To do any of this, email us at hello@ledash.co. We'll respond in line with the law that applies to you. If you're in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Do Not Track
Most browsers let you send a Do Not Track signal. There's no agreed standard for how websites should respond to it, so we don't respond to it differently than any other visit.
US state residents
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you have specific rights under your state's privacy law.
You can ask us what information we have about you, get a copy of it, correct anything that's wrong, or ask us to delete it. We don't sell personal information and we don't use it for targeted advertising. You won't be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email hello@ledash.co. We may need to verify your identity before we act on it. If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing us and we'll explain why in writing.
California residents can also request, once a year, a list of any third parties we shared your personal information with for direct marketing purposes. We don't do this, but the right exists.
Updates to this notice
We'll update this notice when needed. If we change something meaningful, we'll email you before it takes effect. The updated date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
